Technical Software Delivery Director

We're Hiring: Associate Director - Technical Delivery(Prior experience with one or more of the IT Services Companies in India needed) Please note that this is not a Service Delivery / IT / Infra Delivery director role Location: Coimbatore, India Experience: Senior Delivery Leadership IT Services / Digital Engineering A global digital transformation and enterprise technology services organization is looking to bring on board an Associate Director - Technical Delivery to lead complex, large-scale delivery programs from its Coimbatore delivery center. This role is ideal for a senior technology leader who thrives at the intersection of delivery excellence, client engagement, and technical depth, and who can scale teams while ensuring quality, predictability, and business outcomes. About the Role As an Associate Director - Technical Delivery, you will own end-to-end delivery responsibility across multiple programs, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards. You will lead and mentor large technical teams, partner with clients and stakeholders, and provide strategic direction across technology, delivery, and people management. The role demands strong expertise across full-stack engineering (Java / .NET), cloud platforms, DevSecOps, data analytics, and an overall understanding of AI agents and modern intelligent systems. Key Responsibilities Strategic Delivery Leadership • Define and execute delivery strategies aligned to business objectives • Build and institutionalize delivery playbooks, KPIs, and governance models End-to-End Project Oversight • Own the full delivery lifecycle-from mobilization and planning to execution and handover • Ensure successful delivery of complex technical scopes across multiple workstreams Team & People Leadership • Lead, mentor, and scale large, multi-disciplinary engineering teams • Drive hiring, onboarding, ramp-up, and ramp-down of resources • Foster a high-performance, collaborative, and accountable delivery culture Client & Stakeholder Management • Act as the senior delivery point of contact for clients and internal leadership • Manage expectations, negotiate priorities, and build long-term client relationships Technical Leadership • Provide hands-on technical guidance across: - Full-stack development (Java / .NET ecosystems) - Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS) - DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines - Data Analytics and modern data platforms - Overall understanding of AI agents and intelligent automation Risk, Quality & Governance • Proactively identify and mitigate delivery, technical, and operational risks • Lead quality reviews, testing strategies, and client walkthroughs • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and lessons learned Process & Knowledge Management • Ensure adherence to delivery processes, documentation standards, and knowledge management practices Required Skills & Qualifications • Proven leadership experience in senior delivery roles within IT Services / Digital Engineering organizations • Strong expertise in Agile delivery methodologies • Deep technical understanding of cloud (Azure/AWS), DevSecOps, full-stack technologies, CI/CD, and scripting • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities • Experience managing large, distributed delivery teams • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline About the Organization The role is with a globally recognized digital transformation and AI-led services firm, known for delivering innovative solutions across industries such as Financial Services, Insurance, Retail, and Healthcare.
