Join an industry leader and make a positive change in the sustainable use of the world s natural resources Together we will transform the business and drive the industry toward a greener future At Metso you will be supported by our inclusive culture and a network of colleagues from around the world With us you will embark on a personal growth journey and are encouraged to realize your potential This is your invitation to rise above the possible IntroductionWe are seeking a Sr Engineer to join our CNS Procurement Quality team You will be responsible for managing the Quality assurance Control related to special grade steel like Hi Chrome Mn Steel Alloys steel which involves product qualification development process control related to foundry process Your role plays a crucial part in the consumable business to have strong quality deliverance which will contribute to positively impact on the Customer success excellent experience In this position you will report to Narender Kumar This position is mainly located in Ahmedabad however it involves up to 50 travelling within India depending upon the business needs in the various region Team you belong toYou will join a team of Supplier Quality management who are committed to derive the results passionate about to deliver excellent customer experience with best Quality product to the supply chain We are currently working on Consumable Pump Casting development project using different processes which includes Supplier quality management Audits Casting Process product development Quality checks Document standardization NDT managing drawings tolerance Non-conformity CAPA activities We work closely with internal Supply Chain PUMP Factory Global product development team external stakeholders Sales Service Our team culture is all about Creating Value into the business via co-operating continuously learning mind set with the performing together approach The members in our team are in Multiple locations within India What you ll do Supplier Qualification management approval process Process Audit related to Foundry Ops such as molding HT Spectro tracking analysis and corrective action plan Product quality checks control reports find the way to fix the problems Lead the development working with the various stakeholders including technical and other aspects related to quality deliverable Creating building system related to Quality audits Supplier performance Score and reporting Performing supplier Audit related to Sustainability and reporting Control on agreed actions plan Who you are Looking for BE Diploma in Metallurgy mechanical engineering who should min 5 year experience inside the foundry does have casting technical know-how Capabilities to do quality inspections ability to find the gaps manage to handle the technical aspects drawing reading capabilities Standards hands on experience on the product quality measurement high knowledge about the metallurgical knowledge Strong Heat treatment knowledge and skills to assess risk Professional knowledge about advanced quality tools as APQP PPAP FMEA Mega Casting Simulation Person should have knowledge about the MS Power point PBI analytic tools As there would be multiple stakeholders thus management and work done approach should be key for the success on this role What s in it for you Wellbeing and safety -
