OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

To conceptualise, design, and build intuitive user experiences across digital products of Kotak Life, with twin aims of innovating as well as building standards

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

.Collaborate

oIdentify internal or external customers and establish modes of meaningful conversations with them

oWork with product managers to synthesize abstract or amorphous ideas into design implications

oWork with product managers to define measurable UX goals and drive action on the same

.Design

oTranslate concept into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes, on agreed timelines

oAll designs to be optimised for wide variety of devices and interfaces

oEnsure that design sanctity is maintained in the development stage and list deviations for future action

oConstantly review user experience of existing products / interfaces and drive improvement on those

.Drive

oDrive adherence to standards across various digital products in Kotak Life

oIdentify areas of bad UI/UX and pick up isolated projects, with the aim of showcasing delta in outcomes

oPut customer in the centre and stretch the definition of UX, thereby touching various cross functional departments and setting up forums to demand more for the customer

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS

Educational Qualifications:

Post-Graduation: Master of Design (or equivalent) - education qualification may be relaxed given demonstrated experience

Work Experience (relevant):

5 years of design experience, with 2 additional years of team management.

Experience in BFSI sector, with established or new players, preferred

Certifications:Not necessary

Other skills:

Interpersonal

.Ability to clearly communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams and stakeholders

.Excellent written communication skills

Technology skills

.Expertise in standard UX software is a must. HTML, CSS, Javascript skills are a plus

.Deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design
