🚀 Hiring: Databricks Administrator | C2H | Pune (Night Shift) Payroll: Quess Location: Pune (3 days WFO — may change as per business needs) Shift: Night Shift (6:30 PM IST to 2:30 AM IST, shifts by 1 hour during DST) Notice Period: Immediate to 10 days Gap: Not more than 3 months Interview : 2 rounds (HM's interview availability : 1.30PM to 6.30PM IST) Virtual / 2nd round - in person might be connected if required for Pune based candidates Experience: Level 2 (5–7 years) 🔍 Job Title: Databricks Administrator (Contract to Hire) ⭐ Must-Have Skills (3+ years): Databricks SQL ➕ Good-to-Have Skills: Azure Cloud Database Services DevOps Operations Terraform Azure DevOps Python 🎯 Key Responsibilities / Requirements: Work in Chicago time zone (6:30 PM IST – 2:30 AM IST). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. Proven experience as a Databricks Administrator or similar role. Strong hands-on expertise with Databricks components — workspaces, clusters & jobs. Experience configuring and optimizing Databricks clusters for big data workloads. Knowledge of platform security, access controls & governance (Unity Catalog). Understanding of data governance and cataloging tools (e.g., Microsoft Purview). Experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Hands-on skills in SQL, Python, Terraform, and Azure DevOps. Background in Platform Engineering (not Data Engineering). Strong operational, support, and documentation skills. Databricks or related certifications are an added advantage.
