Job Summary:
Client is looking for Data Scientist and this is remote position from India.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and translate them into actionable data science projects.
- Perform data exploration, cleaning, feature engineering, and model selection for optimal performance, leveraging the capabilities of Azure Databricks for large-scale data processing.
- Support production deployed ML models and AI applications
- Translate natural language queries into SQL statements for data retrieval.
- Extract and categorize entities from text data.
- Continuously monitor, evaluate, and tune model performance, identify areas for improvement, and iterate on models for optimal results.
- Document work effectively, including model development process, technical decisions, and results.
- Strictly adhere to Catalent’s Responsible AI Framework and practices
- Stay up to date on the latest advancements in machine learning, generative AI, and related technologies.
Experience:
Focus: Time series forecasting models and tree-based modeling applied to live data streams.
Requirements:
- Strong Python programming and data engineering skills.
- Comfortable with end-to-end software development, not just analytics.
- Build and support forecasting models that feed C-Suite level decision-making dashboards.
- Should handle scalable data pipelines and model deployment.
