Job Summary We are seeking responsible and vigilant Security Guard/Security Supervisor to maintain the safety, security, and integrity of the premises, personnel, and property. The Security Guard is the first line of defense, responsible for routine patrolling, monitoring entry and exit points, and handling security equipment. The Security Supervisor oversees the guard team, ensures adherence to security protocols, maintains reports, and coordinates with the management on incidents and risk prevention. The ideal candidates must be physically fit, alert, disciplined, and capable of responding to emergencies and enforcing company policies effectively.ResponsibilitiesSecurity Guard1. Access Control & Surveillance Monitor entry and exit of staff, visitors, and vehicles at all gates. Verify ID cards, visitor passes, and maintain proper logbooks. Use CCTV and other surveillance tools to monitor premises. Prevent unauthorized access and report suspicious activity immediately. 2. Patrolling Duties Perform scheduled and random patrols around the premises (indoor/outdoor). Check doors, windows, locks, and alarm systems to ensure all are secure. Ensure fire exits and emergency routes are accessible and unobstructed. 3. Incident Handling Respond quickly and calmly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies. Report any accidents, fire, theft, or other unusual incidents to the supervisor or control room. Help evacuate buildings during fire drills or actual emergencies. 4. Safety and Customer Service Assist employees and visitors with directions or queries when required. Ensure crowd control during events or peak hours. Ensure that safety and cleanliness rules are followed in assigned areas. 5. Reporting and Record Maintenance Maintain visitor registers, gate logs, and vehicle entry/exit logs. Submit end-of-shift reports on observations, patrols, or incidents to the Security Supervisor. Report damages, leaks, electrical issues, or hazards observed during patrols.Supervisor1. Team Supervision & Deployment Oversee and manage a team of Security Guards deployed across the premises. Create and assign duty rosters, shift schedules, and ensure adequate coverage at all locations. Conduct regular briefings and training for guards on protocol, conduct, and emergency procedures. 2. Security Operations Monitor security operations across all shifts, ensuring discipline and adherence to procedures. Supervise the functioning of surveillance systems (CCTV, access control). Conduct surprise checks to evaluate guard performance and alertness. 3. Incident Management Respond to security-related incidents and emergencies. Investigate and document incidents such as theft, breaches, or safety hazards. Coordinate with emergency services (police, fire department) when necessary. 4. Liaison and Coordination Coordinate with administrative and HR departments on employee ID issues, visitor policy, etc. Interact with vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel as per security guidelines. Ensure effective communication between guards, facility teams, and management. 5. Compliance & Reporting Ensure guards follow company policies, safety procedures, and government regulations. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly security reports for management.
