Senior Privacy Specialist Location: Mumbai Role Purpose The Senior Specialist - Data Protection will ensure the security and privacy of the organization's data. This role involves developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures, and monitoring compliance. Duties & Responsibilities - Develop and implement data protection policies and procedures. - Monitor compliance with data protection regulations and standards. - Conduct data protection assessments and audits. - Collaborate with IT and security teams to address data protection issues. - Provide training and support to data protection tool users. Knowledge, Experience And Skills - Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Data Protection, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in data protection. - Knowledge of data protection regulations and standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA). Preferred Qualifications - Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification. - Experience with data protection in a multinational corporation. - Master's degree in Data Protection or related field. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and report-writing abilities. - Proficiency in data protection tools and methodologies. - Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
