We're looking for a QA Automation Engineer who's not just a tester, but a quality advocate. Someone who builds robust, scalable test automation and takes pride in preventing bugs before they happen. Role Overview

We're seeking a QA Automation Engineer with a passion for building scalable automation frameworks and ensuring product quality at every stage of the SDLC. You'll work closely with frontend, backend, and product teams to test everything from mobile to AI-powered features.

This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to influence product quality, testing strategy, and release confidence without being siloed into just "writing scripts."

Responsibilities

Automation & Frameworks

- Design and maintain robust test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and APIs
- Build and manage regression suites for fast, reliable test execution
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for shift-left testing

Test Strategy & Execution

- Collaborate with developers and PMs to define test plans, edge cases, and acceptance criteria
- Perform exploratory and functional testing across platforms
- Own and drive test case documentation, execution, and bug reporting

Tooling & Reporting

- Set up test reporting and dashboards to visualise test coverage and failures
- Use tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Postman, JMeter, or similar
- Actively identify gaps in coverage, quality risks, and continuous improvements

Requirements

4–6 years of experience in QA automation and functional testing

Proficiency in at least one automation framework (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)

Experience testing REST APIs and using tools like Postman or Swagger

Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, Python, or Java

Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or CircleCI

Experience working with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment

Clear communicator with attention to detail and documentation

Nice to Have

- Experience testing AI-based or creative tech platforms
- Knowledge of performance or load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6)
- Exposure to mobile automation frameworks (Appium or similar)
