SYSTRA India’s comprehensive know-how and expertise in Railways provides a wide spectrum of solutions for any challenge (Building a new rail link, doubling the capacity, gauge conversion, upgrading a network, improving the performance of existing lines, etc.). Our extensive experience encompasses, Bridges, station buildings, Depots, Earthwork & Track Works, Power Supply and Transmission, Signaling & Telecommunications, Rolling Stock, Utilities diversion and yard re-modelling etc. Our services cover the entire life cycle of the project implementation. Currently, we are bidding for Metro Rail projects across India. The position of Chief Structure Expert-Elevated is the key position in these BIDs. Missions/Main Duties: - Lead and oversee the structural design and construction of elevated metro structures, including viaducts, bridges, and elevated stations. - Review and approve structural drawings, calculations, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and project requirements. - Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architecture, geotechnical, MEP, alignment, etc.) to resolve design and site issues for elevated works. - Monitor construction activities on site, ensuring quality control, structural integrity, and adherence to safety standards. - Provide technical guidance to contractors and consultants, and resolve complex structural engineering issues during both design and construction phases. - Prepare and present progress reports, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior management and the client regarding elevated structures. Profile/Skills: - Graduate in Civil and Post-Graduation in Structures - 20+ years in rail related major infrastructure project and shall have designated experience of design of Metro Viaduct & Station in at least two Metro Projects. : We commit to put people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency.
