THIS IS A LONG-TERM CONTRACT POSITION WITH ONE OF THE LARGEST, GLOBAL, TECHNOLOGY LEADERS. Location: Pune (Hybrid) - (Once a week in office) Shift: General (IST Hours) Experience: 9+ years overall experience We are seeking an experienced QA Manual Tester IV to join our client's team and contribute to ensuring the delivery of top-quality web and API applications. Primary Skills - Web application testing (manual functional and regression testing) - API and REST API testing using tools such as Postman or Bruno - UI automation basics using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright - Strong understanding of testing methodologies, defect tracking, and reporting Secondary Skills - Performance testing using tools like JMeter or BlazeMeter - Exposure to mobile application testing - Familiarity with AI-based testing tools or frameworks Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience - 9+ years of hands-on QA/testing experience - Proven experience in manual testing of web and API-based applications - Familiarity with API automation using RestAssured (Java) is a plus - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills - Strong collaboration skills in Agile development environments Responsibilities - Perform manual testing of web and desktop applications for functional and non-functional quality. - Conduct manual API testing to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of REST services. - Collaborate with developers, QA peers, and managers to design and execute detailed test plans and test cases. - Log, track, and retest defects to ensure thorough resolution. - Utilize Postman/Bruno for API testing and validation. - Provide regular testing progress updates and communicate critical issues effectively. - Assist in UI automation testing (Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright). - Support API automation initiatives using RestAssured (Java).
