Job Role: Mechanical Designer Engineer Job Location: Bakrol, Ahmedabad Job Description: Responsibilities: - Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for Reverse Vending Machines. - Create 3D CAD models, 2D drawings, sheet metal, and weldment designs (SolidWorks/AutoCAD). - Support prototype building and resolve technical issues during production. - Collaborate with electrical, software, and production teams for seamless system integration. - Perform simulations (FEA) and ensure designs meet manufacturability and quality standards. - Prepare technical documentation, BOMs, and QA test plans. - Design and develop sheet metal and weldment components for manufacturability. Requirements: - B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Industrial Engineering. - 13 years of experience in mechanical design (automation/machinery preferred). - Strong knowledge of CAD (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and GD&T standards. - Hands-on experience in sheet metal, weldments, and manufacturing processes (CNC, bending, welding). - Familiarity with DFM/DFA principles, BOM preparation, and prototype development. - Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills; FEA knowledge is a plus.
