About the Role The System Engineer (NOC Analyst) will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our server infrastructure across Linux, Windows, and VMware platforms. The role requires strong technical expertise, proactive monitoring, and effective troubleshooting to ensure high system availability and security. Key Responsibilities - Install, configure and administer Linux (RHEL/Ubuntu/CentOS) and Windows Server environments - Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies - Maintain VMware ESXi/vCenter, VM creation, migration and optimization - Monitor systems using Nagios, Zabbix, PRTG, SolarWinds - Perform OS patching, system hardening and security compliance - Implement and monitor backup solutions (Veeam, Acronis, Nakivo) - Troubleshoot server, network and performance issues - Prepare documentation, SOPs and system health reports Required Skills - Linux and Windows Server Administration - VMware (vSphere, vMotion, DRS) - Networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing basics, firewalls) - Monitoring tools - Backup tools - Documentation and ITIL basics - Ticketing tools (JIRA/ServiceNow) Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or Engineering - Preferred certifications: RHCSA/RHCE, MCSA/MCSE, VMware VCP, ITIL Foundation Soft Skills - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills - Good communication and documentation - Ability to work under pressure - Team collaboration mindset
