Title: Director - Quality Engineering Experience: 18 Years Reporting to: Vice President - Global Head of Quality Engineering Location: India - Remote Overview: - Spearhead the overall Quality Engineering practice with Delivery responsibility. - Focus on futuristic technologies, implementing Shift Left and lean principles. - Focus on Quality principles, methodologies and drive to implement them for better outcomes. - Groom and ensure continuous skill improvement of practice leader(s) and associates - Lead the creation of accelerators, offerings etc. for the practice, - Assess and recommend tools and technology selection in Testing and Quality Engineering space. - Define, setup and implement Testing and Quality Engineering practices including Process, Metrics and Governance, Tooling, Automation, Test Data Management, Performance Testing, Security Testing, Accessibility Testing, Test Environment Management, and Reporting. Responsibilities - Owning and managing Testing and Quality Engineering engagements in a global delivery model. - Managing Delivery teams, motivating team members always providing necessary guidance and support, - Engaging on Presales and Sales activities for Testing and Quality Engineering with focus on Estimation, Quality proposal making and presentation. - Owning and achieving revenue target, P&L' - Operations management including SOWs creation and renewals, timesheet management and invoices. - Managing 100+ member team in a Global Delivery model' - Technologies: Web, Mobile, API, Mainframes, - Functional and Non-Functional testing practices. - Functional Testing in Web, Mobile, API, Mainframes, Database, ETL, Cloud, Migration, Upgrades, RPA, AI/ML, Model, Event based Asynchronous testing. - Non-functional testing including Performance Testing, Security Testing and Accessibility Testing. - Database, ETL, Cloud, Migration, Upgrades, RPA, AI/ML, Model, Event based Asynchronous testing. - Progressive Test Automation to drive faster releases, enable DevOps, TestOps, to meet business outcomes. - Implementing DevOps with DORA metrices. - Any one of leading cloud technologies: AWS, MS Azure, GCP. - Tosca, Tosca DI, Selenium, Katalon, Typescript or any other Automation tools, - Banking and Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare domains. - Working in Agile Squad teams with sprint-based delivery. - Working onsite in USA for 2-3 years.
