Job Description About The Role SourceFuse Technologies is seeking an experienced and highly skilled .NET Architect with 10+ years of end-to-end SDLC experience and strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and architecting enterprise-grade web applications. The ideal candidate will have deep proficiency in Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms, frontend frameworks, and modern software architecture principles. This role requires someone who can provide technical leadership, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality delivery across complex systems. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Design : - Design and architect large-scale, enterprise-grade web applications using .NET, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and modern architectural patterns. - Apply SOA, EDA, OOP concepts, SOLID principles, and multi-tier architecture across all projects. - Identify and define non-functional requirements including performance, scalability, observability, and security. - Conduct architectural reviews, define best practices, and provide technical direction to engineering teams. - Document technical requirements, solution approaches, and cost-benefit analyses for internal teams and clients. Development & Engineering - Lead the development of complex application components ensuring maintainability and performance. - Build and optimize REST/SOAP services, WCF, and integrations across distributed systems. - Work hands-on with backend and frontend technologies including Angular or React (3+ years). - Write, review, and optimize SQL queries and database schemas supporting analysis and development. - Implement unit testing using NUnit, JUnit, Google Test, or Google Mock. Cloud, DevOps & CI/CD - Work with Azure Cloud (minimum 2 years) and other cloud services to architect scalable solutions. - Support CI/CD workflows with at least 8 years of experience working in DevOps-driven environments. - Use GitHub, Git, and Jira extensively for version control, collaboration, and sprint management. Collaboration & Leadership - Guide engineering teams through design and development phases. - Collaborate with product managers, stakeholders, and clients for requirement gathering and solutioning. - Provide technical expertise in troubleshooting, optimization, and production support. - Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, estimations, and technical discussions. Required Skills & Qualifications - 10+ years of complete SDLC experience in enterprise environments. - 4+ years of hands-on experience in architect-level roles. - 7+ years of experience developing browser-based web applications (internet/intranet). - Strong command of Microsoft .NET Framework, .NET Core, ASP.NET, C#, MVC, WCF, Web Services (SOAP/REST). - Proficiency in SQL Server (current and previous versions) and general database concepts (MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra). - Solid experience in design patterns, OOP, SOA, and distributed system architecture. - 3+ years of experience in Angular or React. - 5+ years of experience with Agile development methodologies. - 8+ years working with CI/CD tools and development automation. - Experience writing unit tests using NUnit, JUnit, Google Test, or Google Mock. - Hands-on experience using cloud platforms (Azure preferred). - Deep knowledge of GitHub, Git, Jira, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks. - Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills. - Excellent communication skills and ability to document technical solutions clearly. Nice-to-Have Skills - Experience with microservices, containerization, and serverless architecture. - Exposure to modern DevOps tools, monitoring frameworks, and performance tuning. - Ability to lead design workshops and present architectural solutions to clients.
