Quantity surveyors are responsible for managing all aspects of the financial and contractual side of construction projects Their job involves estimating and controlling costs preparing tender documents assessing financial risks negotiating contracts and managing procurement and payment processes Review architectural plans and prepare quantity needs Estimate the quantity and costs of materials labor and construction equipment Prepare contract documents including bills of quantities and other relevant details Negotiate contracts and pricing with contractors and suppliers Track changes to designs and adjust budget projections accordingly Monitor and keep track of progress and contract compliance Conduct site visits to ensure construction complies with the initial specifications and industry standards Manage and process payments and invoices Assess potential risks and work on mitigating them Report on financial status and make forecasts for project completion Educational Qualification Bachelor s Degree in Quantity Surveying B Tech B E Dilpoma-Civil Engineering Experience 5-9 Years Proven working experience in Quantity Surveying atleast 4 Years Strong understanding of construction material and contract law is essential Skills in project management and budgeting are immensely beneficial Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholder engagements Detail-oriented and deeply organized Adept in MS Office and Quantity Surveying software Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Job Type Full-time Pay 40 000 00 - 55 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Schedule Day shift Work Location On the road
