Job Description The Impact of a Business Applications Admin/Developer: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Salesforce Admin/Developer to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for both the day-to-day administration and custom development of our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who can not only manage and maintain the system but also drive projects from conception to completion, translating business needs into tangible solutions that enhance our platform and support a user base of over 2,000 licenses. What You'll Do: - Lead and manage Salesforce projects from requirements gathering through to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and valuable business results. - Design, develop, and deploy custom solutions on the Salesforce platform, using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components, with a preference for declarative development. - Provide global end-user support, including system configuration, complex formulas, and maintenance. - Proactively assist users with best practices to enhance their knowledge of Salesforce. - Design, document, build, test, and deploy enhancements to Salesforce, including custom objects, page layouts, flows, reports, and complex dashboards. - Understand and analyze business objectives and functional requirements, translating them into technical Salesforce solutions that account for integrations and other downstream impacts. - Proven ability to build and enhance customer support portals using Salesforce Experience Cloud, focusing on case deflection self-service, comprehensive knowledge base - Administer all aspects of the Experience Cloud environment, including user administration, content management, and the configuration of complex security models using sharing sets, roles, and profiles for external users. - Manage and configure all aspects of Service Cloud, including Case Management, Entitlements, Milestones, Omni-Channel, Email-to-Case, Web-to-Case, and the Service Console. - Identify and analyze business risks, inefficiencies, issues, and opportunities related to Salesforce. - Train and support our internal user base of over 2,000+ licenses. - Ensure all work adheres to our IT guidelines, standards, methodologies, and frameworks. - Manage and maintain integrations with other systems using APIs and web services. - Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and scalability. What you will bring to Coupa: - 4-6+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator/Developer. - A strong understanding of Salesforce best practices, both declarative and programmatic. - Experience responding to production support requests and troubleshooting issues, including debugging Apex and other custom code. - Proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components. - Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Salesforce Service Cloud, with deep expertise in configuring, customizing, and optimizing core features such as Case Management, Omni-Channel, Entitlements, and the Service Console. - Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, etc.) for building integrations. - Excellent customer service skills with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and exceed customer expectations. - Strong project management and documentation skills, with the ability to effortlessly multitask while driving projects and ensuring timely delivery. - Technical proficiency in custom objects, validation rules, flows, reporting, dashboards, assignment rules, email2case, and advanced formula fields. - Proven experience with business process optimization. - Strong accountability, teamwork, and initiative. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Certified SFDC App Builder or Administrator is required. Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is a plus. - A strong understanding of Fedramp environments is a plus. - Experience with Coveo or other Federated Search platform is a plus
