ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE:

- This role prepares Credit memo for new counterparties and for limit extension and review of existing counterparties on annual basis and presenting to Credit Committee.
- The incumbent shall be responsible for monitoring & policy updation as & when defined.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE

Business

- Manage credit appraisal and due diligence on counterparties within defined TAT
- Manage quicker TAT for processing cases
- Use Rating models to complete rating for all counterparties in the portfolio
- Monitoring of portfolio on regular basis and reporting any material events/updates to Management and suggesting remedial actions
- Handle any queries from Business/Treasury on limit allocation/reallocation product-wise
- Maintain timely review/renewal of all cases on due dates
- Prepare RBI reports and internal control reports

Customer

- All Banks/NBFCs/Corporate entities in the portfolio being managed.

Internal process

- Adherence to Institutional Lending/ Investment Policy of Bank
- Adherence to Internal Risk Management and Compliance directives
- Adherence to RBI guidelines on Lending to Bank/Corporate/NBFC

Learning & Performance

- Ensure adherence to training man-days/ mandatory training programs for self.
- Ensure goal-setting, midyear -review and annual appraisal process happens within specified timelines for self.
