We work in conjuncture with various institutions solving key business problems across a broad-spectrum roles and functions, all set against the backdrop of constant industry change.

Your work profile

Job Title: Database Engineer

Skills

- Design, implement, and maintain relational databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
- Design scalable, high-performance, and normalized database schemas based on business requirements.
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
- Monitor and tune database performance using indexing, partitioning, and query optimization techniques.
- Analyze slow-running queries and implement optimization strategies.
- Collaborate with developers, data analysts, and system architects to design database solutions.
- Perform data migration, transformation, and scripting as needed.
- Troubleshoot database-related issues and provide timely resolutions.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in database development and administration.
- Proficient in PostgreSQL or MySQL (experience with both is a plus).
- Strong command of SQL and database optimization techniques.
- Experience with database schema design and data modeling.
- Understanding of data security and compliance standards.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
