is working various initiatives and projects related to transformation journey of Payments systems that include domestic as well cross border payments This team also support existing systems across APAC supporting more than 15 countries Payment Product processor are core of any payment system that sits between Payment initiated by our clients from various channels and our core banking systems This Processors are where actual validation of data sanction screening and account posting happens as part of entire life cycle of Payment flow This is one the critical system as it processes millions of transactions in a day covering Payroll Processing Government Tax Payments Vendor Payments and much more Role Description We are seeking a Technical Lead Scrum Master to manage Development related activities for Domestic Disbursement Engine DDE Application The successful candidate will interact with the Application Manager Development team production support team internal technology interface partners as well as other departments within Citibank such as the System Administrators Database Administrators Data Centre Operations and Change Control groups for TTS platforms in addition to constant interaction with Operations and Product teams Responsibilities Responsible for aligning with and working on multiple large scale complex software solutions even by extending the existing platform through custom development customization and integration with in-house solutions and vendor solutions leading to a complete platform that caters to key business requirements Conduct tasks related to feasibility studies time and cost estimates IT planning risk technology applications development model development and establish and implement new or revised applications systems and programs to meet specific business needs or user areas Monitor and control all phases of development process and analysis design construction testing and implementation as well as provide user and operational support on applications to business users Utilize in-depth specialty knowledge of applications development to analyse complex problems issues provide evaluation of business process system process and industry standards and make evaluative judgement Recommend and develop security measures in post implementation analysis of business usage to ensure successful system design and functionality Consult with users clients and other technology groups on issues recommend advanced programming solutions and install and assist customer exposure systems Ensure essential procedures are followed and help define operating standards and processes Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and or other team members Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made demonstrating consideration for the firm s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup its clients and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws rules and regulations adhering to Policy applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour conduct and business practices and escalating managing and reporting control issues with transparency Responsible to work on L3 related Production Fixes and Deployment Detail Role Specifications RequirementsQualifications Bachelors degree in Science Computers Information Technology or Engineering Technical Functional Proficiency Minimum 8 years of experience preferably 3-5 years in Payments Receivables domain Minimum 5 years of experience in working globally distributed teams successfully Strong experience in working with various Payments schemes and Payments messaging formats such as ISO 8583 ISO 20022 and SWIFT MT Strong experience in working in Transaction Banking in the payment space like Domestic RTGS GIRO ACH etc International funds transfer SWIFT ISO20022 messaging Asia country regulations Currency Foreign Exchange AML Monitoring Sanction Screening etc Strong skills required on Java Spring Framework and Sybase Oracle Exposure to Software Development Technologies is a must such as JMS MQ Unix Linux Shell Scripting Autosys Powerbuilder C and also database related technologies like Sybase SQL Server ORACLE is a Plus Strong understanding of software analysis and design high availability and multi-threaded applications and troubleshooting Experience in working on enterprise transaction based system with focus on recovery stability reliability scalability and performance Exposure to performance improvement related aspects of large technical solutions with significant volumes is preferred Exposure to Continuous Integration and Deployment process Leadership Skills Excellent organization skills attention to detail and ability to multi-task Lead the team of Developers to handle the deliverables independently Demonstrated sense of responsibility and capability to deliver independently quickly Excellent communication skills Clearly articulating and documenting technical and functional specifications is a key requirement
