Role & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and underwrite exposures for the Healthcare Equipment Finance segment, including equipment loans, leases, and structured transactions.
- Assess and structure transactions, conduct operational and financial analysis, AML risk assessment, and collateral evaluation.
- Perform due diligence and prepare credit pitches for approval.
- Collaborate with origination teams and stakeholders to ensure timely credit approvals and execution while maintaining compliance with company credit policies and underwriting procedures.
- Monitor asset quality, track delinquencies, engage with borrowers for resolution, and act on early warning signals.
- Manage ongoing portfolio and account activities, including amendments, waivers, and handling troubled accounts.
- Contribute to product development, policy reviews, scorecard formulation, and process enhancements.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on deal performance and portfolio activities.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- 10-15 years of experience in credit underwriting, preferably in healthcare equipment finance.
- MBA or undergraduate degree in business, finance, or a related field.
- Strong expertise in financial statement analysis and valuation.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal and team collaboration abilities.
