What we're looking for

- Develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's goals and long-term objectives.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with business plans and financial targets.
- Oversee the company's capital structure and financing activities, including raising structured finance through debt and equity instruments.
- Identify and evaluate a variety of debt instruments from a range of financial institutions to secure optimal financing terms for each project.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management for decision-making and performance optimization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with lenders, investors, and other financial stakeholders to facilitate successful fundraising efforts.
- Structure and negotiate financing agreements, ensuring alignment with project requirements and financial objectives.
- Provide strategic guidance and recommendations to senior management on investment decisions, capital allocation, and risk management.
- Conduct financial analysis and due diligence for potential project acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures.
- Monitor market trends, regulatory developments, and industry dynamics to anticipate financial risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with project teams, engineering, and legal departments to ensure alignment of financial strategies with project timelines and objectives.
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and dashboards.
- Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to drive business performance.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal financial controls.
- Manage cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to support operational needs and strategic investments.
- Oversee treasury functions, including banking relationships, debt management, and investment strategies.
- Develop and implement strategies for efficient cash management and risk mitigation.
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure financial accuracy.
- Optimize financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial oversight and support for solar energy projects, including budgeting, cost tracking, and financial analysis.
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure financial alignment and address any financial issues or risks.
- Evaluate the financial viability and performance of new projects and investments.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear objectives, provide regular feedback, and support professional growth and development for team members.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination within the finance team and across other departments.

Applicant requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree or CPA designation preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in finance in a managerial role within the renewable energy or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and reporting, with experience in budgeting and forecasting.
- Proven track record in financial management, cash flow optimization, and project financial oversight.
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and execute complex financing transactions with multiple financial institutions and investors.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights and ecommendations for project success.
- Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and risk assessment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a commitment to driving performance and delivering measurable results
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and project requirements.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in financial softwares, ERP systems, and Google Suite.
