This role is for one of the Weekday s clients Min Experience 3 years Location Bengaluru JobType full-time We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Engineer who is passionate about transforming raw data into meaningful insights and building scalable data solutions In this role you will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining data infrastructure that supports analytics reporting and machine learning workflows You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow high-quality datasets and actionable intelligence for business growth This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges optimizing performance and enabling data-driven decision-making Requirements Key Responsibilities Design build and maintain robust ETL ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data Develop and manage data lakes warehouses and marts to support analytics and reporting Build efficient and scalable data models ensuring clean well-structured datasets for business use Support real-time and batch data processing leveraging tools such as Spark Kafka or Hadoop Ensure strong data governance security and quality control across all data systems Collaborate with engineering and AI teams to provide reliable data inputs for machine learning and predictive analytics Conduct exploratory data analysis EDA to uncover insights and improve data understanding Create interactive dashboards and business reports using Power BI Tableau or Looker Automate recurring reporting processes and build KPI-monitoring systems for key stakeholders Perform data validation performance optimization and troubleshooting to maintain system reliability Translate complex data findings into clear actionable insights for business and product teams What Makes You a Great Fit Strong proficiency in Python with hands-on experience using Pandas NumPy and PySpark Expertise in advanced SQL including complex queries joins and performance optimization Practical experience with ETL tools like Azure Data Factory Airflow or Pentaho Solid understanding of data modeling architecture and data warehousing principles Proficiency in business intelligence tools such as Power BI Tableau or Looker Experience working in cloud environments like Azure AWS or GCP Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical teams to deliver impactful solutions Exposure to ML AI data pipelines API integrations and CI CD practices is a plus A proactive detail-oriented approach with a passion for clean reliable and optimized data systems
