Job Requirements At Quest Global it s not just what we do but how and why we do it that makes us different With over 25 years as an engineering services provider we believe in the power of doing things differently to make the impossible possible Our people are driven by the desire to make the world a better place to make a positive difference that contributes to a brighter future We bring together technologies and industries alongside the contributions of diverse individuals who are empowered by an intentional workplace culture to solve problems better and faster Key Responsibilities Electrical Design Engineer Use CAD Eplan software to develop detailed design drawings and layouts and specifications for electrical systems Hands on experience in Macro creation in EPLAN tool Data base creation in EPLAN tool Error sorting in EPLAN drawing Perform load calculations and size electrical components cables and earthing conductors based on system requirements Ensure all designs adhere to required specifications meet environmental factors safety standards and regulatory requirements Perform through testing of designs and developing necessary modifications Develop and execute test plans and procedures for electrical components level test and document test results and maintain records Work closely with design engineers and other team members for design development Proficient in Electrical drawing standards IEC 61082 Preparation of documents used in electrotechnology IEC 60617 Graphical symbols for diagrams IEC 61666 Identification of terminals within a system IEC 81346-2 Industrial systems Installations Equipment and Industrial products - Structuring Principles and reference designations ANSI Y32 2 Graphic symbols for electrical and electronics diagrams ANSI Y14 15 Electrical and electronics diagrams Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical codes and standards of NFPA NEC UL and IEC Harness Developement Create detailed electrical harness drawings and using CAD software Perform fitment trial to evaluate routing and to optimise cable length Select right connectors crimps wires terminals and other components for harness preparation Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including Bill of Materials BOM installation instructions and design specifications Conduct tests to validate harness designs ensuring they meet performance and safety standards Ensure all designs and connectors cables accessories are comply with certificates and relevant industry standards approval and regulations Realize the harness routing ensuring optimal placement and minimal interference with other components Good in Harness concept level and drawing development preparation and shall be good in connector crimps and accessories selection and standards and approvals Tool Proficiency Proficient in EPLAN Electric P8 2 6 2 7 2 9 2024 tool Autocad Latest version Excel and PPT We are known for our extraordinary people who make the impossible possible every day Questians are driven by hunger humility and aspiration We believe that our company culture is the key to our ability to make a true difference in every industry we reach Our teams regularly invest time and dedicated effort into internal culture work ensuring that all voices are heard We wholeheartedly believe in the diversity of thought that comes with fostering a culture rooted in respect where everyone belongs is valued and feels inspired to share their ideas We know embracing our unique differences makes us better and that solving the worlds hardest engineering problems requires diverse ideas perspectives and backgrounds We shine the brightest when we tap into the many dimensions that thrive across over 21 000 difference-makers in our workplace Work Experience Electrical Design Engineer Good experience working on Energy domain Exposure working on Cable Harness design Well versed experience on Eplan atlease working minimum 3 years Well versed working on AutoCAD
