Application Development Senior Analyst

Job Description Position Overview The job profile for this position is Application Development Senior Analyst, which is a Band 3 Senior Contributor Career Track Role. We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to drive our software development efforts in creating high-quality technology solutions. The ideal candidate will understand systems requirements, produce clean code, and ensure successful delivery of software solutions aligned with business goals. Responsibilities - Design, develop, test, and deploy technology solutions to meet business needs. - Write clean code to support project delivery on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. - Collaborate with other team members at the scrum team and Agile Release Train levels to deliver features and user stories. - Collaborate with program and business stakeholders to understand the origin and reasoning behind requirements and identify key capabilities to ensure successful product delivery. - Continuously develop knowledge of emerging technologies and support the pursuit of business development opportunities. - Understand established architectural decisions, CIGNA technical standards, governance processes, and defined software delivery methodologies. Qualifications Required Experience & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline. - 5+ years of experience in application program development - 4+ years python - 1+ year(s) AWS - 1+ year(s) relational databases, Oracle preferred - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, organized and detail oriented. - Self-directed and work effectively in a team environment. - Experience with Agile software development methodology and understands SAFe Agile framework and principles. - Experience in Healthcare industry and Pharmacy systems a plus. - Familiarity with enterprise tools such as Jira, Jenkins (or other similar CI/CD).
