Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Websphere Administrator located in Mumbai. The Websphere Administrator will be responsible for troubleshooting, managing middleware, application servers, specifically WebSphere Application Server, and working with Linux systems.

Qualifications

Develop and maintain server and database configurations

- Ensure systems are secure through hardening and patching
- Ensure that systems are running at optimal levels by monitoring performance
- Ensure that backup policies and procedures are followed
- Ensure that disaster recovery policies are in place
- Maintain connectivity for WebSphere and Middleware services
- Implement backup and disaster recovery technologies
- Implement Extended Support for WebSphere
- Ensure that systems are running at optimal levels by monitoring performance
- Ensure that backup policies and procedures are followed
- Ensure that disaster recovery policies are in place
- Maintain connectivity for WebSphere and Middleware services
- Maintain and monitor WebSphere application servers, middleware servers, databases, and applications
- Manage application performance and availability, including capacity planning, capacity tuning, and load testing.
- Configure, maintain, and monitor WebSphere application servers, middleware servers, databases, and applications
- Manage operating system and network security, and backup and recovery procedures.
- Perform system administration, including routine server maintenance, operating system maintenance, and patch management.
- Conduct hardware upgrades, such as purchasing new servers, upgrading memory, and replacing storage devices.
- Perform system administration tasks.
- Maintain and update test environments to meet business requirements.
- Ensure compliance with application, operating system, and data security requirements
