This role is responsible for attracting students to the University by implementing effective strategies, promoting the University both nationally and internationally, and ensuring a smooth admission process. The Admission Counsellor will also address queries from students and parents in a professional and supportive manner. Key Responsibilities: Connect with prospective students/parents through calls and tele-counselling to schedule counselling sessions. Meet prospective students and answer queries regarding the University, programs, and opportunities. Review applications and guide students to appropriate resources on courses, financial aid, scholarships, and related information. Provide accurate information regarding admission documentation and mandatory requirements. Conduct campus tours for prospective students to familiarize them with the University’s infrastructure. Represent the University at schools, seminars, events, and other promotional activities. Manage the entire admission process from application to final enrollment. Follow up with potential candidates after visits to ensure effective closures. Stay updated with admission policies, procedures, and requirements. Organize outreach activities such as workshops, expert talks, health camps, etc. Achieve key performance indicators: 100–150 calls per day during peak admission season.
