About the role: We are seeking a SysOps Engineer with 2+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, automation and CloudOps support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in AWS services, scripting, CI/CD processes, containerization (Docker, ECS), monitoring tools (Nagios, CloudWatch) and compliance awareness for ISO, SOC2 and GDPR. This role requires flexibility to work in rotational shifts (5-day work week, including possible weekend shifts) and the ability to ensure stability and performance of production environments. Requirements What you'll do: - Support and monitor AWS cloud infrastructure in production environments. - Write and maintain automation scripts using Python or Bash. - Work with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Jenkins, etc.) for deployments. - Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and ECS. - Configure and troubleshoot AWS networking basics (VPC, subnets, security groups, load balancers). - Use Nagios, CloudWatch for monitoring and alerting. - Troubleshoot production issues, escalate when needed, and assist in root cause analysis (RCA). - Follow and support incident, problem, and change management processes. - Ensure adherence to security and compliance practices (SOC, ISO, GDPR). - Work in rotational 5-day shifts, including weekends if scheduled, to provide 24/7 production support. What we're looking for: - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience). - 2+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch). - Practical knowledge of scripting (Python, Bash and more). - Experience with Git/GitHub for version control. - Exposure to Docker and ECS for containerized workloads. - Working knowledge of monitoring tools (Nagios, CloudWatch). - Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Flexibility to work in 5-day rotation shifts, including weekends when required. - Awareness of compliance requirements (SOC/ISO). Nice-to-Have Skills: - AWS Associate-level certification (SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect, or DevOps Engineer). - Exposure to Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC). - Proficiency in Python scripting - Working knowledge of Node.js, React/Angular frameworks.
