across Americas EMEA and Asia Pacific About the Role Position Title Senior Analyst Corporate Title Analyst Reporting to Vice President Location Bengaluru Job Profile Position details MUFG EMEA Operations is responsible for efficient and accurate processing ranging from single-touch single entry to multi-touch complex transaction processing CDM Recs Inv Deptsit within the Regional Operation Product Services and are responsible for managing Data Management Investigations and Reconciliations of the EMEA Operations Office The Control Data ManagementAssistant Vice President is responsible for ensuring that tasks are completed in line with Service Level Agreements Ensure all tasks and processes are completed in a controlled and effective manner They are also responsible for completing and checking of processing as required on a daily basis They will adhere to current regulatory requirements Head Office rules and local procedures whilst looking to improve processes at all times Roles and Responsibilities Input and verification of Standard Settlement Instructions for FX Money Market Commercial Payments and Loan Products Input and verification of various Branch and Currency Holidays across various EMEA branches Completion of Audit Balance Confirmation requests from clients and auditors Ensuring that tasks are completed all checklists are adhered to and any issues are escalated where appropriate Participate in effective cross training for other members of staff Conduct UAT and testing when called upon Escalate in a timely manner Attend meetings when required and provide feedback of discussions Action and management of swift MT and MX messages Creation of instructions for other areas with use of excel EUCs and other systems Action and completion of RMA and Bank Code requests to facilitate bank processing and Front Office Branch requirements Build relationships throughout MUFG to establish a peer network gather relevant information and help to ensure effective inter-departmental collaboration Operate as product specialist providing subject matter expertise where required Key Responsibilities To ensure completion of expected processing by Control Data Management with accuracy compliance to procedures and regulations and within expected time frames Ensure the completion of Audit Confirmation Balances within agreed time frames with no errors Authentication and execution of Non-standard form SSIs and all associated controls and checks across various bank platforms and products Perform circulation of CIF and Account Closure Checklists prior to processing Participate in completion of processes for Nostro agent changes Manage and maintain records for RMA and Bank Code requests Acceptance and accurate execution of swift messages on MT and MX Complete actions as required on the Daily Weekly and Monthly Checklists Maintain accurate records in department EUCs and ensure they are utilized correctly Be a representative for Control Data Management at various meetings and use knowledge and skills to ensure accurate and informative responses giving guidance of appropriate approaches to new projects and tasks Job Requirements Work experience Essential Significant back office banking experience at least 3 years Practical experience within an audit balance confirmation environment Practical experience of static maintenance of system information such as currency holiday registrations Standard Settlement instructions for products Treasury Remittances and Loans and other static registrations Experience of working in a fast moving environment under time pressure whilst retaining strong attention to detail Work Experience Non-Essential but advantage Experience of OVS Experience of Alert Experience of GPP Experience of SwiftRef Skills and Experience Functional Technical Competencies Essential Working knowledge of Microsoft products to Intermediate level Word Excel etc A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail Strong decision making skills with excellent communication written and verbal skills Recognise the need for change and the ability to generate new ideas Knowledge of SWIFT and routing of messages payment processing FX MM settlements standard settlementinstructions Practical experience within an audit balance confirmation environment Practical experience of static maintenance of system information such as currency holiday registrations Standard Settlement instructions for products Treasury Remittances and Loans rate registrations related to FX and P L valuations and other static
