Job Title Accountant Company Veterans Pro Cricket International VPCI Macwise Group Location Thane Maharashtra Reports To Operations Head Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accountant to manage and maintain accurate financial records for VPCI events The ideal candidate will be responsible for recording all event-related transactions verifying their accuracy and ensuring proper documentation of bank transactions related to the event Key Responsibilities Record all incoming and outgoing financial transactions accurately related to the VPCI event Maintain daily records of vendor payments advance payments if any Create and manage the general ledger specific to the event Ensure accurate categorization of expenses and income to support financial tracking and reporting Verify and cross-check all financial documents including invoices bills receipts purchase orders contracts and payment approvals Coordinate with the procurement and event logistics teams to confirm that delivered goods services match invoices Monitor track and reconcile all event-related bank transactions Maintain up-to-date bank statements and ensure timely deposits and withdrawals are properly recorded Assist in creating managing and updating the event budget in collaboration with the event planning team Identify and flag any budget overruns or financial discrepancies Prepare periodic financial reports post VPCI Event for records Contribute to post-event financial reviews and audits to assess financial performance Required Skills Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance Commerce or a related field 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks Tally Zoho Books or equivalent Proficient in Microsoft Excel including pivot tables VLOOKUPs formulas and Google Sheets Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced event environment Strong written and verbal communication skills High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 35 000 00 - 55 000 00 per month Schedule Day shift Language English Preferred Work Location In person
