Role TL - Projects Job Level/ Designation TM Function / Department COG / Cluster Core Ops Location Circle Job Purpose Implement all types of Core projects which includes new nodes deployments, capacity expansions and OEM swapping for voice core - IMS (VOLTE), CUDB/UDR, PACO, DRA/STP etc. Key Result Areas/Accountabilities - End to end drive of all Core projects which involves new node deployments, expansions of existing nodes, OEM consolidation / swaps for VOLTE, PACO, UDR, DRA/STP etc type of network elements - Drive MRN/GRN, on time closure of open PO - Material delivery at site as per the project plan (new, inter-circle transfer) - Inventory management of project material to ensure zero theft. - Overall ensure on-time & error free execution and completion of all Core projects for delivery required core capacity to meet business need. - Coordinate with central / regional planning team for CAPEX, PO approvals, site surveys - space and power feasibility, project timelines. - Coordinate with OEM for site surveys, OEM & SCM for material deliveries - Coordination with planning, OEM and SNOC for all types of solution documents, eco system readiness, peer nodes integration. - Physically verify each installation and ensure 100% QC. - Proactively align all resources, test set ups and team for Function and RA UAT & Clearance, LI/IPDR compliance, SNOC HO, Dry Run and Go-live - Ensure dry run and Go-live happens with 100% compliance of all checks, acceptance from all relevant stakeholders - Ensure thorough pre / post checks for Dry Run and Go-live including performance, KPI etc. - Ensure clearance of open punch point of any within agreed timelines. - Ensure all HOTO happens with 100% availability of all types of HLD, LLD, solution documents to Operation team - Effective coordination with various stack holders like planning, OEM, SCM, Operation team, SNOC for smooth execution of projects - Proactive approach to identify possible show stopper, get them addressed and highlight concern well in advance. Core Competencies, Knowledge, Experience - Good overall understanding of all types of Core NE working and its call flows like Data, CS Core and Signaling platforms - Effectively understand new solution documents, participate and drive resolution of issues encountered during project activities. - Knowledge of 5G Core - Good understanding of Telco cloud architecture and its deployment - Project Management skill with certification like - PMP, ITIL etc - Good people handling, communication - written and verbal, presentation skills. - Proactive approach - Positive Attitude towards problem solving, learning new things, adopt changes Must have technical / professional qualifications B Tech/ BE (Electronics and Telecommunications)with 8-10 years of experience in Core projects, operation etc Vodafone Idea Limited(formerly Idea Cellular Limited) An Aditya Birla Group & Vodafone partnership
