Job Title: Inventory Executive / Inventory Controller

Employment Type: Full-time

Experience: 1-3 years (preferred in warehouse/retail/inventory ops)

Job Summary:

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Executive / Controller to manage the day-to-day inventory operations at our warehouse. You'll play a key role in ensuring stock accuracy, cycle count and condition mapping along with managing inward and outward movement, and minimizing shrinkage and damages.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all inventory (inbound, outbound, returns, stock transfers).

Stock Audits & Counts: Conduct periodic stock counts (cycle counts/monthly/quarterly) and reconcile discrepancies.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Investigate mismatches, shrinkage, and damages and report findings with solutions.

Inward & Outward Checks: Verify and inspect items during goods receipt and dispatch. Match against GRN/Invoice.

Location & Article Tagging: Ensure all products are stored, labeled, and mapped properly for easy tracking.

Returns Handling: Manage and log all returns - customer returns, damaged, or partially used goods.

Damage Control: Track and record all damaged/partially damaged goods and ensure proper documentation.

Reporting: Generate reports on stock levels, shrinkage, damages, and overall inventory health.

Coordination: Work closely with operations, warehouse, and procurement teams for seamless flow.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. 1-3 years of experience in inventory or warehouse operations
2. Strong knowledge of inventory software (ERP/WMS/Excel or Google Sheets)
3. Basic understanding of inward/outward processes and RCA
4. Good communication and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
6. High attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred:

1. Experience in rental, logistics, or FMCG sectors
2. Knowledge of barcode/RFID scanning and inventory tools
3. Ability to lift light loads and physically verify stock when needed
