Rockwell Automation is a global technology leader focused on helping the worlds manufacturers be more productive sustainable and agile With more than 28 000 employees who make the world better every day we know we have something special Behind our customers - amazing companies that help feed the world provide life-saving medicine on a global scale and focus on clean water and green mobility - our people are energized problem solvers that take pride in how the work we do changes the world for the better We welcome all makers forward thinkers and problem solvers who are looking for a place to do their best work And if thats you we would love to have you join us JOB DETAILSJob SummaryThis high impact role assures that products manufactured comply with Customer quality requirements operating procedures and other applicable regulations You will manage the direct processing of materials and the associated hourly workforce to ensure compliance and realize our results Take lead of continuous improvement project to implement strategy framework scope on shop floor Your Responsibilities Manage production work cell to ensure that all manufacturing function related can provide the highest quality product at the lowest cost Ensure that customer delivery commitments are met Review and establish materials equipment and workforce resources for all production requirements Report line shortage and ensure material flow to production Maintain quality and attain output requirements Coordinate production activities with other teams Quick to make sure the production can smoothly run Responsible of relative training to staffs Build production daily schedule Other relative issues to production Help manufacture equipment supplies or materials Conduct tasks following applicable health safety quality and environmental regulations state regulations ISO 9000 ISO 14000 etc as well as Rockwell Automation procedures Job related competenciesFunctional Excellent planning and to be production plan based on shipment deadline and material supply equipment and workforce and build production schedule Manage production operation following plant procedures to ensure smooth production operation Meet production goals concerning high quality low cost on time delivery safety and 5S Work with cross function team to solve production issues and escalate Excel at Project management to be new product introducing transferring to support business growth Initiate continuous improvement programs that lead to improvement in quality cost delivery efficiency and safety Develop training metrics and training plan and train production employees conduct employee performance review and develop people Coordinate production activities with other teams Conduct tasks following applicable health safety quality and environmental regulations state federal laws ISO9001 ISO14000 etc and Rockwell Automation policies and procedures Other responsibilities as assigned Interpersonal Communicate and share information effectively with others in presentations reports meeting Business Assist and be responsive to the needs of teams and team members and other individuals in goals Ensure familiarity with company procedures Policies and procedures in compliance with government law Leadership Coach and direct the activities of operators in an evolving team environment Influence and lead others in the accomplishment of production projects The Essentials - You Will Have Typically 15 years working experience in an electrical electronic or mechanical production manufacturing engineering or quality field Demonstrate knowledge of production principle cross function understanding and leadership experience And experience with learning Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Mechanical Lean-Six Sigma background Proficiency in English writing and reading specially Project management experience preferred Computer Skills To perform this job you should have knowledge of Database software Familiar with SAP system operation skills flexible shift arrangement Autocad Creo Catia Report to Production Manager What We Offer Our benefits package includes xe2x80xa6 Comprehensive mindfulness programs with a premium membership to Calm Company volunteer and donation matching program Your volunteer hours or personal cash donations to an eligible charity can be matched with a charitable donation Employee Assistance Program Personalized wellbeing programs through our OnTrack program On-demand digital course library for professional development and other local benefits At Rockwell Automation we are dedicated to building a diverse inclusive and authentic workplace so if you re excited about this role but your experience doesn t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description we encourage you to apply anyway You may be just the right person for this or other roles onsite LI-DB2 LI-Onsite
