Job Description Role Description Prakriti E-Mobility Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a highly experienced, detail-oriented, and strategic Senior Manager Accounts & Finance to lead our accounts function. This is a senior role responsible for overseeing complete accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and supporting business growth through strong financial insights. Key Responsibilities: 1. Financial Accounting & Reporting - Lead end-to-end accounting operations: AP, AR, GL, banking, and reconciliations. - Finalize monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements. - Review and approve P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and MIS reports. - Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing. 2. Statutory Compliance & Audit - Oversee GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT, and all statutory filings. - Coordinate with internal and external auditors for statutory and tax audits. - Ensure 100% compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. 3. Budgeting & Cost Control - Prepare and review annual budgets and forecasts. - Perform variance analysis and track budget vs actuals. - Implement cost control measures across departments. 4. Accounts Payable & Receivable - Oversee vendor management, payments, employee reimbursements. - Ensure timely invoicing, collections, and credit control. - Review customer and vendor reconciliations regularly. 5. Cash Flow & Fund Management - Monitor working capital requirements and daily fund position. - Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions. - Oversee loan documentation, OD limits, BG/LC issuance, and treasury operations. 6. Process Improvement & Controls - Strengthen internal controls and SOPs across finance functions. - Implement automation and ensure accuracy, documentation, and transparency. - Maintain audit-ready accounts at all times. 7. Team Leadership - Lead and mentor the accounts team. - Ensure task allocation, performance monitoring, and skill development. - Foster a culture of ownership and accountability. Skills and Competencies: - Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, accounting standards, and statutory laws. - Advanced financial analysis and MIS expertise. - Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and advanced Excel. - Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. - High accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail. Education and Experience: - CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred. - 1012 years of experience in accounting, compliance, and financial reporting. - Experience in manufacturing, EV service industry is desirable. - Prior experience leading a finance/accounts team is mandatory.
