Job Description The Opportunity The Project Manager will lead and oversee initiatives related to rebranding and design platform projects for power transformers. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex projects that align with strategic objectives and drive value for the organization. How You'll Make An Impact - Lead and manage multiple technical projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. - Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, and monitor project progress against these plans. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, R&D and business stakeholders, to define project requirements and deliverables. - Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and develop mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes. - Communicate project status, progress, and key milestones to stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or questions. - Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and comply with organizational policies and procedures. - Facilitate project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and post-project reviews, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. - Continuously improve project management processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project delivery. - Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in project management and engineering platforms. - Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. - Living Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business. Your Background - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with 3 to 6 years of relevant experience. - Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in the engineering industry. Strong understanding of project management methodologies, including Agile and Scrum. - Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues effectively. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Azure. - Experience with transformer industry and design tools would be added advantage. - Certification in project management, such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM). - Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.
