Job Description
Role Overview
The IT Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining GoKhanas IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, supporting end-users, and implementing security protocols. This role requires hands-on technical expertise and proactive problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware, software, networks, printers, and systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal uptime.
- Manage user accounts, access rights, and security permissions.
- Provide technical support to employees and resolve IT-related queries.
- Oversee data backups, recovery processes, and disaster recovery planning.
- Implement and monitor IT security measures (firewalls, antivirus, patching, etc.).
- Coordinate with vendors for procurement, maintenance, and service support.
- Maintain inventory of IT assets (laptops, desktops, servers, network devices, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with IT policies and data protection guidelines.
- Support the onboarding/offboarding process with IT setup and access management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 24 years of experience as an IT Administrator/System Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments.
- Hands-on experience with networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, routers, switches).
- Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Workspace, etc.).
- Good understanding of cybersecurity practices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
