In this role, you'll work on process development, optimization, and scale-up of organic molecules. You'll collaborate closely with our R&D and process teams to translate lab-scale reactions into scalable manufacturing processes. This role is ideal for someone passionate about chemistry, problem-solving, and building a strong career in industrial research. Key Requirements - B. Sc/ M.Sc in Organic Chemistry - 25 years work experience in R&D or Process Development - Relevant Industry Background Skills and Responsibilities - Experience in process development, optimization, validation, and scale-up from lab to pilot scale. - Hands-on with air and moisture-sensitive reactions and chemicals. - Ability to plan and execute multiple reactions in parallel. - Skilled in isolation and purification techniques distillation, crystallization, chromatography, etc. - Strong understanding of reaction mechanisms and process impurities. - Proficient in analytical data interpretation using NMR, Mass, HPLC, GC, etc. - Good command of literature search tools such as SciFinder and Reaxys. - Ability to document experiments, observations, and results accurately in lab notebooks and technical reports. - Strict adherence to IP confidentiality and laboratory safety protocols. - Proactive in identifying and mitigating potential safety risks.
