Job Description Date Posted: 2025-08-25 Country: India Location: No.14/1 & 15/1, Maruthi Industrial Estate, Phase 2, Hoody Village, Whitefield Road, KR Puram Hobli,Bengaluru, Karnataka, India Position Role Type: Unspecified Job Title: Assistant Manager - Planning Experienced Senior Engineer Planning responsible for leading Planning & Execution on Production Lines ensuring on-time delivery with optimal inventory and within costs. What You Will Do: - Production Planning: - Develop and maintain daily/weekly and monthly production plans in alignment with customer orders and forecast. - Co-ordinate with SCM, Stock room and Ops team to ensure material availability and efficient work flow. - Monitor production schedules and adjust schedules as needed . - Maintain SAP system parameters UpToDate . - Partner with Engineering, Quality & process Engineering in managing engineering/drawing change management. - Collabrate with SCM on Material Planning and availablity to weekly plans. - Engage Operations to Define Cell loading charts and align resources to requirements - Partner IPT to manage customer priority and drive priority. - Inventory Management - Manage inventory levels , including Raw-material, WIP and Finished goods, ensure production not disrupted due to low inventory. - Responsible for maintaining standard WIP levels and also defined Safety stocks at Top level assemblies - Process Improvement: - Identify & implement process improvements to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction - Partner with Ops excellence to lead and drive Improvement projects What You Will Learn: - Exposure to High class Manufacturing work systems and flow - Opportunity to work on automations and simplifying large data structures - Experience Culture of Transformation journey through Lean and digital initiatives. Qualifications You Must Have: - B. E in Electronics/Mechanical with 5-8 Years experience in Production Planning profile managing demand/supply & inventory - Atleast 2-3 Years of SAP Expeirence in Planning and supply chain background - Strong analytical skills, ability to solve problem systematically - Excellent communication and presentation skills . Qualifications We Prefer: - Experience in Fast Paced Manufacturing set-ups, preferably in electronics background - Familiarity with KINAXIS and Advanced excel skills to support large data management - Ability to work on high engineering change driven set-up to manage daily variations and deliver - Good Understanding of Lean Techniques in Manufacturing and Business Process.
