SYSTRA has completed 17,000+ Square kilometer of Statutory Master Planning and 15+ City Development Plans (CDPs). We are seeking applications for the position of Project Manager– cum- Planner for GIS based Master Plan in Andhra Pradesh. Missions/Main Duties: Project Management: - Develop and oversee detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and budgets to ensure deliverables are met on time and within scope. - Coordinate with multidisciplinary team members (planners, architects, engineers, GIS experts, etc.) to integrate diverse planning components. - Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to address delays or issues. - Ensure compliance with client requirements, contractual obligations, and relevant standards/guidelines. Technical Planning: - Contribute technically to the preparation of master plans, regional development plans, land use plans, infrastructure layouts, and development regulations. - Facilitate the integration of planning concepts such as sustainable development, smart city principles, mobility, and environmental considerations. - Utilize GIS, data analysis tools, and planning software to support the development and presentation of planning solutions. Stakeholder Management: - Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consulting partners, and regulatory agencies. - Organize and participate in meetings, presentations, workshops, and public consultations, ensuring stakeholder buy-in throughout the project lifecycle. - Communicate complex planning concepts and project updates clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Reporting & Documentation: - Ensure the timely preparation, review, and quality control of all project documentation, reports, drawings, and statutory submissions. - Track and report on project progress, budget status, and resource allocation to senior management and clients as required. Team Leadership & Collaboration: - Supervise, mentor, and support team members to build competencies and promote a collaborative and productive work environment. - Foster knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the team. Profile/Skills: - Master's degree in urban planning, Regional Planning, Urban Design, or related field from a recognized institution. - 10 years of relevant professional experience in urban or regional planning/design projects, with demonstrable project management experience. - Experience on large-scale planning/design projects and working with multidisciplinary teams. - Familiarity with project management methodologies, tools, and best practices. - Experience with government clients and/or donor-funded projects is advantageous. : We commit to put people who join us at the heart of improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency.
