ABOUT THE COMPANY: Kryon Technology Pvt. Ltd. (iLabs Group) is building India’s next-generation integrated electronics manufacturing platform for PCBA and motor controllers. Our portfolio spans AC indoor/outdoor controllers, BLDC motor controllers, remotes, IoT gateways, routers, STBs and networking devices. We are setting up a high-speed SMT + assembly facility in Sri City supported by a strong design & sourcing ecosystem. As a fast-scaling 0→1 organization, we are looking for hands-on leaders who can build systems, teams and capabilities from scratch in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. Location: Sri City Experience: 12–18 years Salary Range: ₹30–40 LPA Reporting To: MD / President ROLE SUMMARY The GM – Operations will lead the complete factory operations including SMT (pick & place, reflow, stencil, feeders), wave soldering, assembly, testing, engineering, QMS, warehouse, logistics and production planning. This role requires a builder who can establish world-class PCBA manufacturing systems from scratch, especially for products such as AC controllers, BLDC motor controllers, remotes, routers, STBs and IoT devices. The role demands deep problem-solving, strong people management, process discipline and the ability to drive throughput, quality and delivery in a fast-moving startup. You will also work closely with NPI/design teams, sourcing, and senior leadership to scale the plant to multi-million-unit capacities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Lead end-to-end daily operations of SMT, wave soldering, assembly, testing and integration lines. • Ensure all SMT lines (SPI, screen printer, pick & place, reflow, AOI) run with optimal performance & uptime. • Own output, yield, cycle time, line balancing and throughput across production processes. • Implement daily/weekly/monthly production planning and scheduling discipline. • Establish SOPs, work instructions, manpower charts and production dashboards. • Implement QMS aligned with ISO9001/IATF16949 and customer standards. • Drive process capability, IPC-A-610 compliance, soldering standards and PCBA workmanship quality. • Perform RCA, handle rework trends, improve FPY, and conduct process audits. • Oversee preventive maintenance schedules to maintain uptime >95%. • Drive automation, fixture development and process improvement. • Manage workforce of 200–500 operators, supervisors and engineers. • Lead NPI readiness, trials, DFM/DFT reviews and pilot → mass production transitions. • Manage inbound material flow, component shortages, inventory control and traceability. • Publish weekly KPI dashboards including OEE, yield, manpower efficiency and downtime. • Enforce ESD norms, safety standards and statutory compliance. REQUIREMENTS • Deep hands-on SMT expertise (PnP, feeders, reflow profiling, AOI/SPI). • Strong PCBA manufacturing background (controllers, IoT, routers, STB boards). • Experience leading 150–500 workforce in multi-shift plant. • Strong knowledge of PFMEA, DFM, 8D, control plans and QMS systems. • High ownership, fast execution, startup readiness. QUALIFICATION • B.Tech in ECE/EEE/Mechanical/Industrial. • Lean/Six Sigma/IPC certifications preferred.
