Senior Project Leader - Power Electronics About the job The 3Phase business as part of Data Center Systems LOB is facing a significant and sustainable growth The DCS team is expanding in India to meet the business growth demand and has established a state-of-the-art high power 3Phase R D lab in Bangalore We are looking for a senior project leader in our 3 Phase UPS design team who is passionate to lead from front and provide the technical leadership view of engineering deliverables to other functions and stakeholders working in power electronics or related field Key Responsibilities Lead the 3 phase UPS product technical backlog and drive product enhancements in mechanical firmware electrical and power electronics disciplines in R D Develop comprehensive work plans schedules and oversee the project s execution with the team Technical and project lead for R D engineers to address field issues drive implementation of new features and enhancements ensure electrical and electronic resiliency manage supply chain shortages drive cost reduction efforts and lead product improvements Works as a single point of contact and leader representing the R D in the agile project squad which consists of leaders from all other functions like commercial supply chain etc Collaborate with other functions such as offer management supply chain quality and service to ensure seamless project execution Provide regular progress reports to senior leadership and stakeholders Analyse project briefs requirements and deliverables and convert into technical specs Ensure that applications are in line with customer needs safety standards and compliance Coaching and technical mentorship to team members Qualification Bachelor s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent master s degree in Power Electronics is preferable Minimum of 10 years of experience in project leadership or related roles within the power electronics or electrical engineering industry Required Key Skills Experience Strong technical understanding of power electronics systems and product engineering Proven leadership and project management skills - Prior experience as R D technical lead or project lead in multi-disciplinary environment Good understanding of power and control architecture of power converters power supplies End to product development life cycle experience is mandatory in R D environment Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams Excellent planning organization and execution abilities Clear communication and reporting skills Working experience in engineering processes such as PMP or other waterfall methods or Agile Strong knowledge in engineering design deliverables DFM DFMEA FTA EMI EMC Safety regulatory compliance Why us Schneider Electric is leading the digital transformation of energy management and automation Our technologies enable the world to use energy in a safe efficient and sustainable manner We strive to promote a global economy that is both ecologically viable and highly productive EUR34bn global revenue 128 000 employees in 100 countries Qualifications Qualifications Requirements ME M Tech Power Electronics Control Systems Embedded Systems Mandatory Minimum 10 Years After Masters Educations Post Education Experience in Power Conversion full time role Good oral written communication in English Self Organizing under challenging circumstances Good team player able to manage diverse stakeholders
