Job Description Job Reference # 330706BR Job Type Full Time Your role Are you passionate about data and its quality Do you enjoy problem solving in elegant ways Do you enjoy the challenge of not only identifying problems, but diving deeper to understand what causes them Do you question things that don't look right Do you enjoy working with stakeholder across all divisions and management levels In this role you will: - analyse large datasets for integrity, accuracy, and quality across the Technology Inventories product family - leverage statistical tools, programming languages, and visualization tools and apply advanced analytical methods such as machine learning and artificial intelligence - drive data quality assurance for UBS's Configuration Management Database (CMD), incl. managing data quality rules - monitor data across the product family for any errors, ensuring they're corrected where needed - manage and being an advocate for the Tech Inventories data model - create and manage reports and dashboards consisting of data analysis and data visualizations - understand, represent, and advocate for client/user data needs for the Tech Inventories product family - establish relationships with stakeholders to understand the specific operational and analytical needs of the organization, provide advice on advanced analytical approaches for addressing these needs, and identify and capture the required data sources Your team You will be part of the Technology Inventories team within Tech Inventory Data & Reporting Services (TIDRS) working closely with specialists across IT divisions, Infrastructure, Technology Operations Center and other Group Technology functions. Technology Inventories is a foundational building block at the heart of UBS's Technology facilitating all processes from strategy capture, to IT portfolio management - all the way to managing configuration items. TIDRS is a global team with representation in Switzerland, UK, Poland, India, and US. Your expertise You have: - 5+ years of experience in data engineering and data modelling using tools like Enterprise Architect - 5+ years in data analysis, defining queries, and visualizing results using data sources like databases (SQL Server, CosmosDB, etc.), flat files, etc. using tools like PowerBI or SQL Server Management Studio - experience in ServiceNow and the Common Service Data Model (CSDM) - a track record of developing trust relationships and buy-in across organisational boundaries You are: - a strong thinker that sees problems around the corner and takes ownership to resolve them - an excellent communicator who is adept in communicating with both technical and non-technical audiences - comfortable with working in cross-functional global teams to effect change About Us UBS is the world's largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
