Job Title: Cybersecurity Specialist / Engineer

Location: Remote / Hybrid

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Cybersecurity Specialist to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for protecting the organization’s digital assets, designing secure systems, monitoring threats, and ensuring compliance with security best practices and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Perform risk assessments, vulnerability testing, and threat modeling.
- Monitor networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions.
- Design and deploy security tools, firewalls, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR, etc.).
- Educate employees on security awareness and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, IT security, or network security roles.
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, encryption technologies, and security protocols.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and vulnerability management tools.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell preferred).
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CISM, CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
