We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with 7–10 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL solutions using IBM DataStage, SAP BusinessObjects Data Services (BODS), and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS). The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data integration, transformation, and optimization, ensuring high-quality and scalable data pipelines for enterprise analytics and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using DataStage, BODS, and SQL SSIS.

· Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into scalable data integration solutions.

· Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources into data warehouses and data marts.

· Optimize ETL performance and troubleshoot issues related to data quality, performance, and scalability.

· Work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable data solutions.

· Implement data quality checks, reconciliation, and error handling in ETL processes.

· Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and audit requirements.

· Document ETL processes, technical specifications, and best practices.

· Support production environments, resolve incidents, and provide root cause analysis.

Required Skills & Experience

· 7–10 years of professional experience in ETL/Data Engineering.

· Strong hands-on experience in IBM DataStage (parallel jobs, sequences, debugging, and optimization).

· Expertise in SAP BODS – data flows, workflows, transforms, and data quality features.

· Solid experience in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) – packages, control flow, and error handling.

· Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, performance tuning, and stored procedures.

· Experience in data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake schema, slowly changing dimensions, fact/dimension modeling).

· Familiarity with version control, CI/CD pipelines, and scheduling tools (Control-M, Autosys, etc.).

· Exposure to cloud data platforms (Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or GCP Dataflow) is a plus.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent communication abilities.

· IBM Certified DataStage Developer

· SAP Certified Application Associate – Data Services

· Microsoft SQL Server certification
