We’re Hiring: VMware VCF Engineer (L2–L3 Operations) Locations: Mumbai | Bangalore | Delhi/Gurgaon | Pune Role Type: Resident Engineer | Full-time (Onsite) Start: Immediate to max 30 days notice period We’re looking for an experienced VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Engineer with 5–12 years of experience in virtualization and software-defined data center operations. You’ll be responsible for implementation, day-2 operations, and reliability of the VCF stack, focusing on vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and vRealize / Aria Operations. Key Responsibilities - Implement and manage the VCF stack (vSphere, vSAN, NSX, vROps, Aria Automation). - Perform health checks, troubleshooting, and incident/problem management. - Administer vSphere clusters, vSAN storage policies, and NSX DFW/NAT configurations. - Monitor and optimize performance using vROps / Aria Operations. - Ensure security compliance and documentation for handover. Must-Have Skills - Strong vSphere administration (HA/DRS, VM lifecycle, patching). - Hands-on vSAN operations & troubleshooting. - Working knowledge of NSX-T (overlay, routing, firewall rules). - Experience with vROps / Aria Operations for capacity and monitoring. - Familiar with data center networking (L2/L3) and ITIL processes. Good to Have - Exposure to SDDC Manager / VCF LCM, SRM, HCX, Aria Automation. - Scripting in PowerCLI / PowerShell (Python is a plus). - Certifications: VCP-DCV (required/in progress), VCP-NV / VCAP preferred.
