Key Responsibility - Prepare detailed cost estimates for machine components and fabricated items. - Analyze technical drawings and specifications for accurate estimation. - Perform reverse engineering for existing components and assemblies. - Develop project cost estimation and budgeting plans. - Implement cost optimization strategies without compromising quality. - Monitor and control project costs to ensure adherence to budgets. - Coordinate with vendors for quotations and negotiate pricing. - Select appropriate materials and prepare Bills of Materials (BOM). - Understand manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and assembly. - Utilize CAD tools for estimation and interpretation of engineering drawings. - Support cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement projects. Required Qualifications & Skills: - Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering. - 5–8 years of experience in estimation within pharma engineering or capital equipment industry. - Strong knowledge of reverse engineering and manufacturing processes. - Proficiency in CAD software and MS Office tools. - Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. - Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
