Candidate will also participate in the application maintenance tasks. - The candidates will work on applications based on mainframe technology (JCL/Cobol/Cics/DB2/MQ). Your Skills and Experience: Position Specific Responsibilities and Accountabilities Senior Engineer will cover: - Knowledge internalization - Functional design, technical design and programming - New projects, enhancements and maintenance of a specific for a set of applications - IT Application Life Cycle standards are met in ongoing enhancements and maintenance - Application changes are aligned with the application strategy - Identification and management of risk and issues associated with the application - Maximum operational availability and stability - Cost efficiency Experience 5+ years in development and maintenance of banking business applications. Education/ Qualifications - Degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, IT or similar. Master recommended - English proficiency required - Experience and knowledge of banking business and its operations - Knowledge and experience in systems and end-to-end processes related to financial agents and intermediaries - Experience in JCL/Cobol/Cics/DB2/MQ analysis and programming is a must - Experience in application solutions from technological perspective.
