PURPOSE OF THE ROLE This role will have the responsibility to serve as the Project Management & Delivery for assigned business functions of SCM/Sourcing; Primary purpose being business IT solutions development and execution, solution discovery, service management and stakeholder management. This role will be responsible for delivery & supporting the IT programs/solutions associated with SCM & Sourcing processes of the Organization. SECTION III. Key Result Areas - IT Adaption & Effectiveness - - Drive Availability, Effectiveness and Adaption of IT applications - Ensure Regular Review of Productive systems Usage / Issue Resolution / Enhancements - Support adoption of solutions by the Business User Community - Drive Projects / Solution Implementation - Ensure Project Governance/ Delivery/Communication/Sign-Off (in the role of Project Manager / Delivery Manager as applicable) for assigned projects - Key Point Of Contact for support and for specific projects between the IT function and the relevant IT business partners/ key stakeholders in the business. - Collaborate with architecture and operations teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards. - Enablement of / Alignment with Business Processes - Have a strong understanding of the Business Function's Priorities - Have in-depth and end-to-end understanding of the Business Processes - Have thorough knowledge of the IT / Digital Solutions/enablers used by the Business Function - Ensure End to End IT ownership for prioritized initiatives - Work in close collaboration with IT Business Partner and the IT COE & IT Shared Services team as applicable for preparation and alignment of RFPS/SOW/Technical Evaluations/Solution Architecture - Work in close collaboration with Commercial / Legal Teams for Commercial / Legal Contracts with Solution / Implementation Partners SECTION IV. Key Interactions Internal Interactions Party Interacting With Main Purpose of Interaction / Details Frequency (Put a ) Occasional Frequent Continuous IT COE Team Members / IT Business Partners / IT Shared Services/ Business Units /Business Stakeholders Alignment on the Business Function's Strategy/Objectives /Priorities, Alignment of the Business Function and IT Roadmap and Priorities (aligned with Business at Organization Level and at Business Function level), Business Process & Solutions Understanding, Evaluation/Screening of New Opportunities, Creating IT Awareness in the Business Function, Alignment/Submission of Budgets/Approvals External Interactions Solution Partners Keeping abreast of the progress / developments / functionality enhancement / technology architecture / licensing and solution deployment models in the SCM/Sourcing/Planning space Note: IT COE / IT shared Services will play a lead role in such engagements under their domain. Solution Implementation Partners Engagements for Project / Solution Delivery, Keep track of the capability / current track record of Solution Implementation Partners, Maintaining a connect with the Solution Implementation Partners Ecosystem Note: IT COE / IT shared Services will play a lead role in such engagements under their domain. AMS Partners Smooth Functioning of the AMS Engagements, Periodic Review Note: IT COE / IT shared Services will play a lead role in such engagements under their domain. SMEs Obtain Expert Opinion / Insights / Knowledge / Support on specialized topics Knowledge, Skills And Experiences Competencies Educational Background - Preferred : Bachelor in Mechanical/ Production Engineering / Electrical / Electronics/ MBA (Operations) Functional/ Technical Competencies - Must have experience in Manufacturing/ SCM & Sourcing Execution Solution Implementations - Excellent Understanding of Business Processes across Manufacturing, SCM & Sourcing functions - Functional Specification Documentation Skills - Strong Project Management / Delivery Management Skills Behavioral/ Managerial Competencies - Strong Change Management Skills - Stake Holder Management - Excellent Communication /Collaboration Skills - Problem Solving - Team & Collaboration orientation - Performance Driven - Willing to travel to plant locations as per need Work Experience - 7 to 8 years of experience in similar assignments with a Manufacturing company. - Experience of working with SAP / WM solutions - Certification in SCM Solutions, P2P/S2C solutions, Knowledge of BI solutions will be an added advantage Other Skills: PMP certification would be an added advantage.
