Relevant Industry -IT Services Job Description / Responsibilities - Manage accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, and reconciliation processes. - Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, sales, and payments. - Manage ledger entries, journal entries, contra, payment, receipt vouchers, and petty cash transactions. - Generate client invoices based on project milestones, timesheets, or contract terms. - Review Profit and Loss Account and Balance Sheet and make adjustment entries. - Prepare the Income Tax returns, TDS returns, GST returns for the organization. - To ensure legal compliances and look after income tax and GST related activities. - Ensure proper documentation for GST input credit and reconciliation with GSTR-2A. - Follow up with clients for outstanding payments and send timely reminders.. - Manage vendor accounts, verify bills, and ensure timely payments.. - Experience in filing ESIC & EPF Return. - Liaisoning with bank officials (as and when required). - Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.. - Prepare monthly payroll processing including salary calculation, deductions, reconciliation and payment file in a timely manner. - Maintain payroll and employee reimbursement records. - Liaise with HR for employee onboarding, exit, and payroll changes. - Ensure compliance with governmental laws on payroll accounting and taxes. - Stay up to date on local, state and international tax laws. - Coordinate with external auditors for statutory and tax audits. - Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information to the management. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting systems.. - Coordinating with lawyers/consultants on tax-related issues. - Maintain confidentiality and integrity of all financial and employee data. Desired profile of the candidate - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience - 1-3 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role (Preferably for a startup) - Competent in Advance MS- Excel (X-lookup, V-lookup) & Google sheets - Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills - Solid knowledge of Indian statutory requirements (PF, ESI, TDS, GST, Income Tax). - Familiarity with payroll software and HRMS systems is an added advantage. - Ability to manage deadlines and multitask. - Analytical mindset with attention to detail. - Well versed with accounting software like Zoho Books, Tally etc. Min. Exp. 1 Years and Max. Exp. 3 Years Compensation range - Rs. 2,40,000 4,00,000 PA Working shift- Day shift (10A.M 7P.M.)
