Job Summary

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer with 1–2 years of hands-on experience in automation testing. If you're passionate about quality engineering, continuous integration, and building future-ready test frameworks, this is your chance to make a meaningful impact.

You will be an integral part of our QA Engineering team, contributing to the development of automated test pipelines for web and API-based financial products.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test suites using tools like Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or equivalent.
- Create and execute API test cases using Postman, RestAssured, or Karate.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product managers to identify test automation opportunities and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Work with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or SpecFlow to write behavior-driven test scripts.
- Participate in code reviews, identify and troubleshoot test failures, and enhance test effectiveness.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in automation coverage and QA processes within Agile sprint cycles.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 1–2 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in a FinTech or product-based environment.
- Proficiency in Java or Python for scripting test automation.
- Experience with automation tools/frameworks:
- UI Testing: Selenium WebDriver, Cypress
- API Testing: Postman, RestAssured, Karate
- BDD Tools: Cucumber, SpecFlow
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and version control (Git).
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
- Self-driven with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced team environment.

Nice to Have

- Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
- Experience in cloud-based testing environments (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with Docker or containerized automation setups.
- ISTQB certification or equivalent QA certification.
