Role & responsibilities

- General review Closing Review and Zero surprised prepared consistently with Group standards. Standard General Review process (actors involvement and coordination with CESP Company Leader) in place to guarantee Financial statements economical consistency and facilitate Region/Country F manager accounts validation.
- Expected downstream data quality level, closing deadlines are reached and standards are applied (by local data suppliers especially by SP department).
- Company forecast to fulfill internal and external needs.
- Group accounts certified by legal auditors
- Rules to transform Group accounts into local norms defined, validated and updated following regulatory modifications and company activities evolutions .Financial statements in local norms validated, formatted and submitted to local authorities following country deadlines
- Financial statements in local norms certification by legal auditors. In case of regulatory or tax controls, provide and explain accounting data. Quality and accounting compliance of data produced for the preparation of tax returns.
- Ensures that the team have the adequate and suitable resources to complete its activities
- Manages priorities and guides the team to balance the workload according to the defined priorities
- Develops and supports direct reports career plans and learning opportunities
- Provides regular and timely feedback to direct reports
- Manages the staffing movements taking into account the expectations of employees, the needs of the team and the entity
- Applies company policies and procedures in managing direct reports.
- Facilitates change at team level .Driving operations and performance :
- Helps team members understand the broader vision and guides the team towards results achievement
- Ensures the operations are conducted properly, according to processes, standards, and stakeholder requirements
- Organizes and optimizes the means and solutions necessary to meet the ob-jectives
- Evaluates operations performance and ensures corrective action plans are in place
- Coordinates actions with stakeholders to optimize the performance level
- Identifies the upcoming critical situations in order to anticipate actions
- Continuously seeks to improve performance of operations, stakeholder and employee satisfaction
- Support the team working on RTR, PTP and OTC Activities.
- Should support/backup the team especially during month end close and critical days.
- Analyse and distribute all tasks within team members.
- Propose process improvements.
- Assist and support the manager for all related/requested reports & decision making.
- Coach & lead the team on their goal.
- Handling escalations regarding operations, performance, quality issues
- Provide an urgent resolution in case for any issues encountered by the team
- Review the process, update & upload manuals & reconciliations in the Knowledge Database.
- Assist & support the team in scheduled & Daily Activities such as vendor payments, bank recons, cash and payment application, resolve unapplied cash, PO/Non-PO invoice processing, partial payments, vendor/customer recons, adjustments, balance sheet reconciliation & justification, ad hoc requests from stakeholders.
- Support team during month end, half year and yearly closing reporting in posting accruals, recl-ass, adjustments, analyse variances and blocking checks.
- Stabilize & support any transition under her/his scope.
- Ensure that the team is achieving the 100% Quality, Productivity & KPI.
- Provide & implement back up plans through cross training.
- Provide training plan for the newly hired team members.
